BCN 3rd Birthday
Updated: May 25, 2022

October 20th marks 3 years since the first day riders for Black and Ethnic Minorities met as Black Cyclists Network. The ride was organised and led by Mani. When he tells the story he says about 15 riders met in Regent’s Park and he asked who has never ridden in a group, hands went up, he then asked who has ever ridden more than 50 miles even more hands went up.
In the past 3 years many have gained skills and improved their riding, in addition made friends and gained a BCN Family. Mani on day 1 wanted to create a space to encourage and integrate riders of colour to have a club were we can ride our bikes and not feel uncomfortable or the anomality. BCN is now a community and still going strong 3 years on.
BCN would like to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU, STILL WE RIDE, CHEERS AND HERE’S TO THE NEXT YEAR.
Look out for our announcement of our 3 year celebrations
